South Tabor Neighborhood Association seeks board members

The South Tabor Neighborhood Association (STNA) is currently looking for two people to fill vacant board positions: Secretary and Neighborhood Land Use.

Neighborhood Associations are the basic building block of democracy in the City of Portland. Participants actively work to increase the vibrancy, livability, sustainability, and democracy of their neighborhood. Neighborhood Associations belong to everyone!

Membership is open to all residents, business owners, government agencies, business licensees and not-for-profit organizations who live, work or own real property within the neighborhood.

Our next neighborhood meeting is July 19, 2007 at 7:00 PM. The meetings are held at Trinity Fellowship Church located at 2700 SE 67th Avenue, in the Fireside room, accessible from the rear of the church near the parking lot.

There are many exciting things happening in our neighborhood: a new community garden, annual National Night Out event, development of new community center at the old "Drive Thru, Wake Up" site on Division St., new South Tabor website in the works…just to name a few!

We would love for more neighbors to become involved. Please come to the next meeting to learn more!
