Ross Williams writes "This week the first two of four public forums will give Multnomah County residents a chance to weigh in on which services they think are most important for County government to provide. The Board of County Commissioners and the Citizens Involvement Committee are co-sponsoring the events, which will assist the Board as it plans for the end of the Multnomah County personal income tax. The Citizen Involvement Committee was created in the county charter to promote citizen involvement in county decisions."
